We want ShotFlick to be safe for everyone. This page explains what happens if someone breaks our Terms.
- Warning. For a first, smaller problem (for example, uploading a video you may not have the rights to), we email you and explain what was wrong. Nothing else changes.
- Restriction. If it happens again, or the problem is more serious, we may stop new edits on your account for up to 30 days. You can still sign in, download your finished videos and see your Tokens.
- Closing the account. We close an account at once — without a warning — for child sexual abuse material, sexual content without consent, deepfakes of real people made to deceive, threats of violence, fraud or payment abuse, or attacks on our service. We may also report it to the authorities where Indian law requires.
What happens to your Tokens and videos
- Warning or restriction: your Tokens stay in your wallet; your finished videos stay until they are deleted on our normal schedule (about 30 days after they are made).
- Account closed for a serious breach: unused Tokens are not refunded (Terms §4 and §6). Finished videos are deleted on the normal schedule, unless the law requires us to keep them as evidence.
How to appeal
- Write to grievance@shotflick.com within 30 days with the subject “Appeal” and your account email. Tell us why you think the decision was wrong.
- We confirm we got your appeal within 24 hours and answer within 7 days. A different person from the one who made the first decision looks at it when possible.
- If you are still not satisfied, you can appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India (see Terms §16).
